The drive to Minneapolis was a dreary one.
Huge rain clouds greeted me!
Today's agenda was simple:
A 5k walk/run,
photo with the giant spoon,
(but with a much smaller spoon)
I could handle that.
The spoon is a signature landmark of Minneapolis.
As many times as I am in the Twin Cities,
this was my first time seeing it!
I surivived navigating myself out of the city without the help of my Garmin GPS.
Pretty impressive for a girl with ZILCH for directional skills.
Does anyone else have issues with finding satellites in cities with a GPS?
After picking up my pups I decided to treat myself to ice cream.
Sully decided to make is presence known and chewed out the drive though guy.
Sully gets free ice cream and recieved more then me!
How does that happen?
Wild Harvest was a sponsor to the conference and was AMAZING!
They had mailed this tea in a teaser box earlier this month.
Came in super handy when I got home.
I can usually maintain a pretty strong immune system while at work surrounded by sick people.
But when I am in a large group of people for a long period of time,
like a wedding reception,
(add blogging conference to that list)
I get allergic to people and my sinuses swell.
Yep, I'm weird..
Can't count how many cups of this tea I've nursed while trying kick this sinus cold!
While out to eat with my parents and picking up my pups,
our waiter made sure to let me know he was a MN Vikings fan,
and I was rocking my green and gold in MN..
It was kinda fun watching the Vikings loose on TV at the restaurant,
and watching the Packers score go up on an app on my phone.
Then the Vikings Lost.
And the waiter shut up.
